Hangzhou Fishery Technology Extension Center sent its members to take part in “Ningbo surveyor Meeting about Aquiculture Diseases” in order to exchange advanced experience 　　On Oct.23, Ningbo Fishery Technology Extension Station organized and held “Ningbo Surveyor Meeting about Aquiculture Diseases”, more than ten disease surveyors and separate management persons from seven counties (city or district) fishery technology extension stations of Ningbo city participated in the meeting. Kong Lei, surveyor of provincial Fishery Technology Extension Center was invited to the meeting to make a detailed report about disease surveying, and then, Jiang Jing, surveyor of Hangzhou Fishery Technology Extension Center, introduced some advanced experience accumulated in disease surveying in the past several years in Hangzhou, mainly including Hangzhou “online aquiculture disease data surveying system” and rewarding mechanism about surveyor examination. The “online aquiculture disease data surveying system” was used two years ago, which realized the communication of surveying data through internet. At present, Hangzhou was the only city in China to realize the communication of surveying data through internet. 　　In the meeting, Wang Jianping, senior engineer of Ningbo Fishery Technology Extension Station summarized the work in 2007, and arranged the work in the next period. When the disease surveyors from county (city or district) fishery technology extension stations communicated about the disease conditions in this year, the station master Jin Zhongwen said that it was very important to bring disease surveying into full play and improve economic benefit, by making aquatic animals epidemic prevention and quarantine, monitoring breeding environment, getting into the market transportation information and promoting healthy breeding mode, and then he put forward the development direction about disease surveying, that was, firstly, we should establish aquatic animals epidemic prevention and quarantine organizations, and incorporate it into state animal epidemic prevention system; secondly, we should pay a great attention to accumulate the data from disease laboratory, and later, devote more energy to do disease detection in lab, which was helpful to improve the surveying accuracy and prevent disease scientifically and effectively. At last, the relevant person in charge from Ningbo Bureau of Ocean and Fishery said that we should further deepen our understanding about disease surveying, and consider it essential to improve the quality and safety of aquatic products; as to how to innovate and enlarge working scope, he said that we should make disease surveying with the aim to improve quality and safety by using advanced experience for reference and expanding services and functions.
